Brian is a visiting assistant professor at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where he teaches in the political science department as well as in the First Year Inquiry program. He has also taught courses in comparative politics and political theory at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His teaching interests include ancient, modern, and contemporary canonical political theory, social movements, ethnic politics, the politics of identity, environmental political theory, critical race theory, Black radical thought, Marxism, anarchism, and theories of revolution.
